Understanding and Resolving Advice Line Access Permissions in Atlas
Overview of Advice Line Access Permissions
In the Atlas app, advice line access permissions allow users to interact with the Employment Law team. Assigning or modifying these permissions requires adherence to specific roles and authorisations within your organisation.
Missing Advice Access Options or Button
If you do not see the option or button to assign advice access, you may not have the necessary permissions. In such cases, someone in your organisation with the required authority must handle the assignment. Typically, these permissions are restricted to users with admin or service owner roles.
Authorisation When an Approver is Unavailable
If the named approver responsible for enabling advice line access is no longer active in the business, an authorised company director or owner can step in to provide written authorisation. This ensures continuity and proper assignment of permissions.
Requirements for Email Authorisation
To grant advice line access, the written authorisation from a company director or owner must include the following details:
Confirmation that the named user should have full Service Owner permissions.
Permission for the user to access the advice line number and PIN to connect with the Employment Law team.
Authority granting the user the ability to assign the advice number and PIN to other staff.
Once this authorisation is in place, the designated Service Owner can manage advice line access for other team members as necessary. By following these guidelines, you can ensure proper management and resolution of advice line access permissions in the Atlas app.
