Navigate to User Permissions:
Go to Company > Users.
Select the user you wish to update.
Click Actions > Edit HR/H&S/eLearning Permissions.
Advice Permissions are located at the bottom of the page:
Can access advice
Tick this box to grant the user their own unique advice number, which will appear the next time they log into Atlas.
The user will receive a confirmation email and, upon logging in, will be prompted to set up their own secure pin. Both the advice number and pin are required when calling our advice lines.
Manage allocation of advice
Tick this box to allow the user to manage advice permissions for others.
Users with this permission will be able to see and edit the advice access options for all users, just as you do.
If the user does not already have full access to the Users section, they will see a limited view—only the advice-related permissions will be visible, keeping other permissions secure.
Checking Who Can Manage Advice Permissions
To see who in your company has the Manage allocation of advice permission:
Go to the Users area.
Use the Advice Numbers filter (by default, it’s set to ‘no filter selected’).
Change the filter to ‘can allocate advice numbers’ to view all users with this permission.
Tip: Regularly review who has advice access and management permissions to ensure your team’s support needs are met while maintaining security.
