Multi-company access (MCA) allows a single user to belong to more than one company in Atlas using the same login. Rather than creating separate accounts, Atlas links access together — meaning the user logs in once and can switch between all their companies from within the platform.
This is useful when the same person needs to work across more than one company — for example, a regional manager overseeing multiple sites, a consultant working across different client entities, or a shared service operative supporting more than one company.
Atlas identifies multi-company users by their email address. When the same email address is used across more than one company, Atlas automatically treats that person as a multi-company user.
📝 Note: Only users with an email address can be set up as multi-company users. Users without an email address can belong to one company only.
