How do I change a username to an email address in Atlas?

Atlas works best when users log in with their email address. If you originally set up a user with a username and password, you can easily update this to use their email address instead. Follow these steps:

  • Email logins unlock more features in Atlas.

  • Users can easily reset their passwords.

  • Communication and notifications are streamlined.

Steps to Change a Username to an Email Address

  1. Go to the Users Section

    • Navigate to: Company > Users

  2. Edit the User’s Details

    • Click Actions next to the user.

    • Select View/Edit User Details.

  3. Enable Email Login

    • Turn on the ‘Has Email’ option.

    • Enter the user’s email address in the provided field.

  4. Update the User

    • Click Update to save your changes.

  5. Send a Password Reset

    • Use the Actions button again.

    • Select Send Reset Password.

    • The user will receive an email to set a new password and can now log in with their email address.
