The Consultancy Checklist is a structured tool within Atlas ISO that helps you track the progress of your ISO implementation journey, working alongside your dedicated ISO consultant.
What is the Consultancy Checklist? When you begin your ISO journey with Citation, a consultant is assigned to guide you through achieving certification. The Consultancy Checklist is a shared checklist in Atlas that maps out every task and milestone you need to complete — from initial gap analysis through to your certification audit.
Where do I find it?
Log in to Atlas and open the ISO module.
Select Consultancy Checklist from the navigation menu.
If you don't see this option, check your permissions with your Atlas Admin, as access may need to be enabled.
How does it work? The checklist is divided into stages that reflect the ISO implementation process:
Stage 1 – Gap Analysis: Your consultant reviews your current systems and identifies areas that need to be addressed.
Stage 2 – Documentation: Policies, processes, and procedures are created or updated to meet ISO requirements.
Stage 3 – Implementation: Your team begins working to the new documented procedures.
Stage 4 – Internal Audit: A pre-certification audit is carried out to check readiness.
Stage 5 – Certification Audit: Your external auditor assesses your organisation for certification.
Each item on the checklist can be marked as complete, and your consultant can add comments or flag items that require attention.
Who updates the checklist? Both you and your consultant can interact with the checklist. Your consultant will guide you on what's needed at each stage, and you'll mark tasks as complete as you work through them.
💡 Tip: Review the checklist regularly — it's one of the best ways to stay on track for your certification date and to prepare for consultancy calls.
