Keeping your Process documents up to date is essential for ISO compliance. Here's how to update them in Atlas.

Steps to update a Process document:

  1. Log in to Atlas and open the ISO module from the left-hand menu.

  2. Navigate to Processes and find the document you need to update.

  3. Click on the document title to open it, then click Edit.

  4. Make your changes in the document editor. You can update text, add or remove steps, insert images, and amend any linked templates.

  5. Once you're happy with your changes, click Save as Draft if you want to continue editing later, or Submit for Review if the document is ready for approval.

Version control Each time a Process document is approved following an update, a new version is created automatically. The previous version is retained in the document's history so you always have a full audit trail.

Notifying your team If a Process document has been updated and your team needs to acknowledge the changes, you can distribute it via Document Distribution in Atlas. This sends the updated document to the relevant employees and records when they have read and acknowledged it.

โš ๏ธ Important: Documents in Draft status are not visible to standard users. Only approved versions are shown to employees accessing the document library.
