Phone Icon Has Disappeared
If you can’t see the phone icon in Adviceline, follow these steps in order.
1. Check Your Permissions
You might no longer have permission to see Adviceline or its phone icon.
Confirm that you still have access rights to Adviceline.
If you think your permissions have changed or been removed:
Contact your Service Owner.
Ask them to check and, if needed, update your permissions so you can see Adviceline (and the phone icon) again.
2. Clear Your Browser Cache and Cookies
Display issues in the browser can cause icons or buttons to disappear.
Clear your browser cache and cookies.
Close all browser windows.
Reopen your browser.
Log back in to Adviceline and check if the phone icon is now visible.
3. If the Phone Icon Is Still Missing
If you have:
Confirmed your permissions with your Service Owner, and
Cleared your cache and cookies, and
Restarted your browser and logged back in
…but the phone icon is still not visible:
Contact your Service Owner again.
Explain what you have already tried (permissions check and browser cache/cookies cleared).
Ask them to escalate the issue if needed (for example, to IT support or the system administrator, depending on your local process).
