How to move a team member to a different department

You can move an employee to a different team or department by using drag and drop. When you do this, their employee record updates automatically.

Steps to Move an Employee

  1. Find the employee in the list on the left.

  2. Locate the department you want to move them to.

  3. Click and hold the employee’s name.

  4. Drag the employee from:

    • The list on the left, or

    • The “All Departments” list

  5. Drop the employee into the correct department.

What Happens After You Move an Employee

  • The employee is removed from their old department.

  • The employee appears in the new department.

  • Their employee record updates automatically to reflect the new department.
