Atlas helps you stay organised by assigning tasks for a variety of functions, such as document completion and training.

You can view your tasks in Atlas via the dashboard:

Task Reminders and Status Updates in Atlas

  • Automatic Reminders:
Atlas sends reminder emails for incomplete tasks every Monday morning. Overdue tasks also trigger reminder emails.

  • Automatic Completion:
When you finish a task, Atlas will usually mark it as complete and remove it from your active tasks, stopping further reminders. Some tasks, however, need to be marked as complete manually.

How to Update Task Status

  1. Find your task using one of the methods above.

  2. Click Actions and select the appropriate status:

    • To do: Task not started.

    • In progress: Task started but not finished.

    • Complete: Task finished; reminders will stop.

You can also click Actions > Update to change task details such as description, priority, or assigned users.

Task Filters and Management

  • By default, the filter boxes show your own tasks that are “To do” or “In progress.” Use these filters to find other tasks.

  • Managers and service owners can view their team’s tasks by going to Tasks > Filter by > My team tasks/Tasks I have assigned to others.

  • Tasks can be exported to Excel for easier tracking.

Adding New Tasks

  • To add a task for yourself or others, go to Main menu > Tasks > Add task.

  • Assign users, set priorities and deadlines, add descriptions, and choose to notify users.

  • Note: Once a deadline passes, the task remains on the user’s account and Atlas will continue to send overdue reminders until it’s marked complete.
